Mods

Mods, also often referred to as Hacks when discussing games released for consoles, are unofficial alterations to an existing game that modify some or all of its aspects. This can include visuals, sound, level design and/or gameplay, and particularly extensive modifications can transform a game into something completely different from its base state.
