Donkey Kong is two characters who appear as major characters in the Super Mario Series. The original Donkey Kong was a frequent antagonist to Mario, and would later go under the name Cranky Kong as growing old. his grandson, introduced in Donkey Kong Country, would take more of a protagonistic role.
